A single 25 lb cylinder of R-407A, used both in new low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration and as a replacement for R-404A and R-22 in existing systems. One cylinder handles a typical walk-in or display case charge. Requires POE oil, so an R-22 conversion means changing the lubricant.

What does R-407A replace?

It is used both in new low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration and as a replacement for R-404A and R-22 in existing systems. It is a lower-GWP option than R-404A while staying practical for the same kind of equipment.

What lubricant does R-407A need?

POE oil. That matters most on an R-22 conversion: the system has to be changed over from mineral oil, so budget the lubricant change into the job rather than treating R-407A as a drop-in.

Is R-407A suitable for low temperature applications?

Yes — it is used across both low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration, which is part of its appeal as an R-404A alternative. Confirm the equipment manufacturer approves it for your specific application before converting.

Does R-407A have glide?

In a sea of scams this website is legit for your freon needs... I only paid about half for their R22 as I would have on those accredited wholesaler websites. I researched for weeks and then finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did as their R22 is the real deal and worked out great for my immediate need. Once my order was placed, I got an email with a link tracking my shipment. It only took 3 business days for my pig of R22 to arrive at my door. Will purchase from again.
